Global Food & Wine is more than a brand; it’s a multigenerational, family owned and operated business, which is passionate
about bringing the world’s finest foods to the kitchens of great foodservice outlets across Queensland.

Our history began with our father John Ceccato, the eldest child of a large Italian immigrant family. John’s upbringing of
working in the family hospitality business combined with traditional family values and the pleasure of eating good meals
prepared with quality food, love and dedication, laid the foundations of what Global Food & Wine is today.

Through humble beginnings of a small warehouse first established in 1957 in Brisbane, Global Food & Wine has grown to be a leading food service supplier importing, producing, and distributing quality food including dry, chilled and frozen foods, beverages and wines. Our customers include Franchises, Pubs, Clubs, Cafes, Restaurants, five star hotels through to small boutique dining destinations

The Ceccato family recently won the 2022 September Awards for Gold Coast Business Excellence - Family Business Category.
